희미한 달빛을 유일한 기준으로 창공을 가르며 직선으로 비행했을 나방은 수 만개의 가까운 빛이 출현한 뒤 방향을 잃고 나선형으로 맴도는 존재가 되었다. 작품은 공원 내 전등 위에서 미친 듯이 날갯짓을 하는 나방과 그 빛 바닥에 생을 마무리한 개체들의 대비적인 이미지로부터 출발하였다.

The work started from the contrasting images of moths flapping their wings like crazy over a light in a park and individuals who ended their lives on the floor of the light.
